Loret Carbone, President and Chief Discovery Officer
When Inc., The New York Times, Nation's Restaurant News, Food & Wine Magazine, and The Oprah Winfrey Show need expert insight into the restaurant industry, they call on Loret Carbone. As Citrine's head of operations, Loret now calls on her extensive experience and considerable enthusiasm as she guides the development of this innovative new restaurant.

With more than 25 years in the industry, Loret brings a depth of experience to her new role. She began her career at Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, working her way up to Partner and Vice President. As CEO of Carbone Consulting, she provided results-driven strategic support to everything from limited-service to upscale dining organizations. Most recently, Loret served as COO for the Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse chain. She earned BS and MS degrees from San Jose State University. But it is her expertise in team building, new concepts, and developing unique niche markets that will most help drive success at Citrine.

Jeff Anderson, Vice President of Culinary Exploration
"When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I think about is what I'm going to eat today." And the next thing on the mind of Jeff Anderson is what his guests, colleagues, family and friends are going to eat.

Since the age of 13, good food has been Jeff's driving passion. After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Jeff earned his chops in the kitchens of such illustrious restaurants as Campton Place Hotel, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Wolfgang Puck's Postrio, and the Cypress Club. While developing his culinary skills, Jeff also honed his business savvy as the owner of the award-winning Black Crow Grill and Taproom and The Rawbar Restaurant and Sushi. Now, as head of Culinary Development for Citrine, Jeff is bringing his attention to detail and passion for food to a more casual dining experience.

Vanessa Miller, Director of Operations, Training and Life Long Learning
Vanessa brings a wealth of experience to Citrine New World Bistro and a career that includes key operations and training roles within the quick service, fast casual, casual and fine dining sectors. Since her first position as a server with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Vanessa has had a passion for business operations and training. After working as a Divisional Trainer for Shaw's Restaurant Group, Vanessa worked with the Big Bowl Asian Kitchen concept-both at LEYE and at Brinker International-and was instrumental in the implementation of new training and development programs. Prior to joining the Citrine team, Vanessa owned her own consulting practice, partnering with the Fox Sports Grill, Golden Wok and Fire Wok concepts.
